What is 275 Times all about?

There are so many great things going on in Māngere but unfortunately we don’t hear about them or these positive events get overlooked.

Therefore we have decided to take on this local media initiative to provide a platform for Mangere people to communicate their stories back to the community. 

The 275 Times is for the residents of Mangere, Mangere Bridge and Mangere East (or essentially anyone who has a 275 telephone prefix) focused on enriching the community by sharing its successes and goings-on.

There is a wealth of research showing that people have an increased sense of community pride when they read positive news about their area - and this would be the ultimate goal of this initiative.
